hey, thanks for the comments on my article. Personally, I thought expect the MSDN links to only work under Internet explorer and the open-source-tool-y links to primarily work under FireFox. That's part cultural (Microsoft guys test on the MS browser) and part business strategy. My company, Socialtext currently supports IE6, 7, Safari, FireFox 2 and 3. Chrome, sadly, not yet. :-)
ya smith...in our project,since we are following a blended approach of scripted as well as ET, the developer's will make the basic level test cases for each functionality( this is because we are following a test driven development) with the help and reviewing of testing team.
That's great. We have a a mix of firms here in Columbus. Testers are respected in some and not in others. I am lucky to be in the former. As our professional organization grows here and more people become certified the role seems to gain more visibility. What's actually cool is QA annd QC are slowly seperating as independant functions.
