I found a great starting point is IEEE 829 (its clear and concise). The terminology is slightly different: Design (What) Case (how) Procedure (When) Test Conditions.

Its Just an estimate.. Only come out when u really know what each functionality is and how much time it would take... Thats Estimate..

Does anyone have suggestions on techniques for the testing of JavaScript 'pop up' or 'fly out' style suggestion boxes that appear/disappear with keystrokes or mouse hover?

Test Estimation

I have been asked on many occasions to estimate testing effort of for
smaller project ... and became increasingly frustrated by minimal
documentation. As a result I spend quite a lot of time talking with
developers and Business analysts to get enough of an idea about the
solution to for a ball park estimate.

Then my team leader explained one of his rules of testing: Testing
effort is 30% of development effort.

Data Conversion Testing

I was recently discussing with a colleague the difficulties of reporting for Data Conversion using the traditional waterfall methodology.

The difficulty with Data conversion is that testing it using the waterfall model, its not possible to know the true quality of the data until UAT has finished.
