Domain analysis best tips and techniques

Posted on August 31, 2009 at 4:28 0 Comments

As an SQA Its been part of my job to identify clients business logic and define it in the SRS in such a manner that it wont be misinterpreted by the development team. At times I end up receiving their current system for me to analyze and put into a document that would be used as basis for the new system they want developed. Where does Domain analysis get in and what is the best tips and techniques in accomplishing it?

Enrique,

Welcome to the Software Testers Club and thank you for your interest in the Hexawise test design tool. I'll send you a pre-release access user name and password later this month. Please let me know if you have any feedback about things you like, things you think could be improved, and/or any ideas you have for new features.

I'm hoping to make it the easiest test design tool to use and the initial feedback I've received is encouraging.

- Justin
