Yes, you are correct. The Canadian Software Testing Board does recognize ISEB certification. The UK was one of the founding members of the ISTQB, and in 2005, began using the ISTQB syllabus and exams. CSTB also uses the ISTQB Foundation certificate syllabus as the basis for examinations in Canada.
