Hi Jamie
This sounds good. If you could share the skillset early I could prepare for the assignments. We have involved in developing a software release management too qaManager This is contributed to sourceforge with more features. Will start development as we get the time.

Most of the test automation are done using opensource tools.
Functional : Selenium , Java
Performance : Grinder, WebLoad and Java

By the way what is the process involved.

Hi Jamie
It's good to hear from you again and see your new challenges.
I am really interested in building team too. I got chance to build three QA teams so far for three different business units.

I worked for a company in Ireland and build our process from there with the help of the qaManager of Irish company.

I have been always given chance to train, build process and never gave up manual and automated testing.

We initiated developing a software to manage software releases and later contributed to community (qaManager) with more functionality.

My challenges are managing teams (15+) remotely and locally.
Improving the skill level. Ensuring the releases on time.
