Anyone Used Test Process Improvement (TPI) Model?

If so, how did you find it? I'm looking to use it where I currently am working, and I'm trying to work out the best way to do the Assessment phase.

I'm looking for a format for the meetings with interested parties... so I can get the right information from them. Mainly I'm concerned with:

1. How to assess the current position, based upon the pre-defined checkpoints - what is the best way to present these for discussion?
2. The best way to ascertain their requirements (where we want to be) from the meetings.

Just to clarify, I do have the book 'Test Process Improvement' by Koomen and Pol, so perhaps I've missed the section in there - I'm working my way through it at present.
