work with the fun friendly development team to successfully deliver working and fit for purpose products.

Essential
Experience of and ability to design and execute effective test cases
Experience of testing web applications
Ability to use and understand advanced features of web browsers
Experience and working knowledge of test automation, ideally using Ruby
Working knowledge of Selenium RC or WATIR, of Ruby or Perl, of CVS or SVN
Comfortable using command line interfaces
Experience in and ability to develop software applications or script using a recognised programming or scripting language
Knowledge of the full software development and testing life cycle
Experience of hands-on testing in Agile development environments (especially Scrum and XP) and Test Driven Development
Proactive and diplomatic

Desirable
Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, JavaScript, SQL, relational databases, HTTP, HTML, Java, testing of XML or JSON feeds, shell scripting
Experience of Exploratory Testing
Experience and working knowledge of load testing, especially Avalanche
Experience of Continuous Integration
Experience in using configuration management or version control tools
ISEB Foundation certification in Software Testing
