On the agile testing mail group, Brian Marick posted that his book Everday Scripting with Ruby had good sales the first year then low sales this and wondered if it was because the audience for it was saturated

I bought it when it came out and found it a great read - as a totally unscientific experiment, who else out there has it - or has heard of it but not bought it ?

Heard of it, not bought it cause Ruby ain't my thing.

Not sure what book trends are like, but it may be worth comparing his sales compared to other book sales. It could be perfectly normal?

Of course we could start a Ruby group to help support his book...and Ruby!

I've got it and read 2 chapters, unfortunately I've not had chance to spend any more time with it, so I'm ashamed to say it's currently sitting gathering dust.

I have it, but I've got a review copy. I think I owe Brian a review. Crap!

Bought it as soon as I saw it on the shelves, and read it. Ruby is my thing (or at least was before I joined Microsoft - need to learn C# now!)
