ABOUT THE COURSE

Overview
This course provides the attendees with a solid academic introduction and practical grounding in the software testing domain and testing practice. The aim of the course is to provide not only the necessary context and vocabulary but also the practical know-how that allows the newly trained test practitioner to deliver effective testing in the real world.

The course is structured to introduce concepts and practices in a logical way. As these are introduced a number of hands-on exercises are completed to reinforce the learning at a practical level. Attendees will apply their newly acquired knowledge to model a test methodology applicable to their own projects.

Techniques that are taught apply equally to testing in traditional heavyweight development projects and to the rapidly growing area of lightweight agile testing. As part of this attendees are introduced to key concepts of the NMQA Rapid Test Approach.
